How do I apply for a job as a full time or seasonal police officer.

Anyone interested in obtaining an application for employment must first write a letter to Chief Michael Bradley.  It is helpful to include a current resumé with your letter. Additionally, you should indicate what position within the department you are interested in.

Can I take my vehicle on the beach... ?

Beach Buggy permits may only be purchased at the Police Department. They are available 24hrs a day/7 days a week. Permits can only be purchased with an in-state check (NJ) or money order. The fee is $50.00 and is good for the calendar year, expiring December 31st. You will be required to present a valid drivers license, vehicle registration and insurance card.

Derby permits will be issued starting 1 week proceeding the start of the derby and are available for a fee of $25.00 Derby Permits can only be purchased with an in-state check (NJ) or money order. Derby permits are only valid for the duration of the derby.
